Getting High-Tech
Date: June 30, 2014
Just four days after being selected with the No. 6 overall pick of the 2014 NBA Draft, Marcus Smart wasted no time getting involved in the Boston community. He joined the Celtics organization in unveiling a renovated technology lab at Harvard-Kent Elementary School in Charlestown. The Boston Celtics Shamrock Foundation’s Player Choice Grant helped complete a $50,000 upgrade of the computer lab in under three weeks, which included 30 new Mac computers, a 70-inch TV and Boston Celtics graphics throughout the space.
