Two of Scott Wedman’s highlights as a Celtics player came against the Los Angeles Lakers in playoff games. In Game 2 of the 1984 NBA Finals, Wedman drilled the game-winning basket to tie the series and help the Celtics move on to win the NBA World Championship title. A year later, during the 148-114 victory in Game 1 of the 1985 NBA Finals, Wedman came off the bench to shoot a perfect 11-of-11 and score 26 points. Clearly, the Celtics were happy to have him on their side of the rivalry!
