Heinsohn Set All Kinds of Records
Date: 1970s
After a Hall-of-Fame playing career in Boston, Tommy Heinsohn coached the Celtics from the 1969-70 season through the 1977-78 season. The Celtics defeated the Milwaukee Bucks in the seven-game 1974 NBA Finals to take home the NBA World Championship title, the first of two for Heinsohn as head coach. After the Celtics defeated the Bucks, WBZ Radio in Boston captured and published all the highlights from the championship season on a record, which Celtics broadcaster Johnny Most narrated.
