Jaylen Brown was magical on January 2, 2022, leading the Celtics to a comeback victory and scoring a career-high 50 points along the way. After hitting 17 points by halftime, Brown kicked it into high gear in the second half and poured on another 30 points – including 21 in the fourth quarter – to help send the game into overtime. His final bucket was a 3-pointer at the top of the key as the Celtics defeated the Orlando Magic, 116-111. With the performance, Brown became the fourth player in franchise history with 50-plus points and 10-plus rebounds in a game, after Larry Bird, Kevin McHale and Jayson Tatum.
