Jerseys Worth a Pot of Gold
Date: 2010s
St. Patrick’s Day is a special holiday in Boston. Fittingly, the Celtics have a winning record for games played on March 17, including a 1985 win over the Houston Rockets when Larry Bird (48 points) and Robert Parish (38 points) put up the two highest St. Patrick’s Day point totals in team history. Starting in 2005, the team celebrated their namesake heritage with unique green and gold uniforms. Though they would undergo some design changes, the uniforms became a tradition, including this one worn by Terry Rozier in 2016 and 2017.
