Taken by the Celtics in the first round of the 1998 NBA Draft, Paul Pierce spent the next 15 seasons in Boston. When the Celtics retired his No. 34 in 2018, Pierce became only one of 22 Celtics players to have the honor. Pierce’s highlights included a 2008 NBA World Championship title where he was named the Most Valuable Player of the NBA Finals. “The Truth” highlighted his bobblehead night with 22 points and 10 rebounds in a 96-70 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
