The Celtics have a long history of great guards – from Cousy to Jones to White to DJ to Rondo – and Marcus Smart is right there with them. A two-time All-Defensive First Team selection and the 2019 NBA Hustle Award Winner, Smart became a fan favorite for his ability to score and play defense. Banners like these were great photo-ops for fans as they made their way through the concourses of TD Garden or even just catching a train in the Red Auerbach Concourse at North Station.
