Boston chose Payton Pritchard with the No. 26 overall pick of the 2020 NBA Draft. The Oregon star had just wrapped up a noteworthy senior campaign where he was named Bob Cousy Point Guard of the Year and Pac-12 Player of the Year. As a Celtics rookie, Pritchard became a solid part of the rotation. In his second season, he averaged 6.2 points, 2.0 assists and 1.0 rebounds and appeared in every game of the 2022 NBA Playoffs.
