Larry Bird wore this long-sleeved quarter-zip warmup jacket sporting his famed No. 33. The number had been associated with Bird before his Celtics days and even before his time at Indiana State. He had worn No. 33 since high school when he chose it to emulate his older brother Mark, a good player in his own right at Springs Valley High in Indiana. Apparently, Mark liked to remind Larry that he had the fifth-best single-season free-throw percentage at the school while Larry didn’t make the top 10.
