The Big Three’s Last Run
Date: 1991-92 season
Over a dozen seasons, the original Big Three of Larry Bird, Kevin McHale and Robert Parish helped deliver three NBA World Championship titles, two more trips to the NBA Finals and nine Atlantic Division titles. All good things must come to an end, and the 1991-92 season would be the final run for the trio. Together along with young stars Reggie Lewis, Kevin Gamble and Rick Fox, Boston won 51 games and another division championship. Bird was named an All-Star for the 12th time in 13 seasons while Fox was named Second Team All-Rookie.
